  • Product Information

An advanced formula utilizing metal-free polymer technology has allowed the development of this specially formulated, one-step, safety enhancing cleaner/maintainer. No. 3003, 3 in I cleans and helps restore the gloss of virtually any coating on any type of floor surface. Most important is 3 in I's ability to assure a positive coefficient of friction and to enhance the slip resistant properties of any surface. 3 in I can be applied with either a mop or automatic scrubber and will not cause a build-up with routine use. Field use has produced an average increase in slip resistance of .1 SCOF per application. 3 in I can be used on all types of flooring, including vinyl tile, terrazzo, marble, quarry tile, blue stone, Mexican tile, ceramic tile, concrete, and sealed wood. 3 in I helps any type of floor meet or exceed the slip resistance recommendations of the U.S. Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), National Floor Safety Institute (NFSI), and American National Standards Institute (ANSI).

  • Application

Dilute 3 in I with warm water at the following dilutions as needed, depending on the degree and type of soil to be removed, and the slip resistance characteristics desired. Light Duty/Routine Cleaning and Slip Resistance Maintenance: 4 ounces 3 in 1 per gallon of water (1:32). Medium Duty Cleaning and to Increase Slip Resistance: 6 ounces 3 in I per gallon of water (1:21).
Heavy Duty Cleaning and Mitigation of Slippery Floor Conditions: 8 ounces 3 in 1 per gallon of water (1:16). Apply with either an autoscrubber or by damp mopping. In order to avoid redepositing grease and protein soils when damp mopping, a two bucket system in which one bucket contains the 3 in 1 and one bucket is used for soiled solution, should be used. Heavy deposits of protein soil, dirt, or grease may be addressed by applying 3 in 1 at 16 ounces per gallon using a pressurized sprayer, watering can, or mop. Scrub the area with a stiff bristled brush or buffing machine, remove the soiled solution with a wet vacuum or mop, and finish the cleaning procedure by damp mopping. Allow the floor to dry. Do not rinse. Use as needed.
