Non-Slip Acrylic Floor Product Information

No. 1222 TRUSTY-STEP NON-SLIP ACRYLIC COATING is a sparkling clear water based, one part acrylic non-slip floor paint like coating with crystal clear, polycarbonate aggregate to stop slipper floors. It coats, seals and creates a slip-resistant floor surface. No 1222 assures a positive coefficient of friction on any floor surface it is applied to, while enhancing the beauty of the treated flooring surface.

Vinyl, Metal, Glass,fiberglass,Tile, Marble, Granite, Terrazzo, Concrete & Steel

Coverage:

400 square feet (37.2 square meters) per gallon (3.79 liters).

Application Instructions:

1. 1.All surfaces must be completely free of dirt, oils, grease and rust. We strongly recommend cleaning the floor with No. 3001Trusty- Step Cleaner.
2. 2.Do not thin.
3. 3.Shake or stir before using
4. 4.Pour entire bottle of No.1222 into paint pail
5. 5.Pour entire bag of aggregate into paint pail. (supplied)
6. 6.Stir gently with mixing paddle until thoroughly mixed.
7. 7.Pour 6 ounces (approx) on to floor.
8. 8.Spread uniformly over floor with No. 9007 Applicator
9. 9.Add additional 6 ounces No. 1222 as needed and spread until entire floor has been coated.
10. 10.Allow to dry 2-3 hours before walking on the floor.; 48 hours before subjecting to vehicular traffic.
11. 11.Ready to clean the next day. We strongly recommend cleaning with No. 3001 Trusty-Step Cleaner or another mild, non-abrasive, liquid detergent. Harsh detergents, may reduce the slip-resistance and/or remove the No. 1222.

The floor is now ready to walk on and will remain slip-resistant for a minimum of four years.

Trusty-Step International Guarantees that No. 1222 Trusty-Sttep Non-Slip Acrylic Coating, when applied according to the instructions provided, will raise the Static Coefficient Of Friction (SCOF) to 0.6, the level recommended by The Americans With Disabilities Act.

 

Routine cleaning and maintenance to remove grease, oil or other substances is required. Use No. 3001 Trusty-Step Cleaner or another mild, non-abrasive liquid detergent.This Guarantee shall only provide for supplying enough No. 1222 TRUSTY-STEP Non ?Slip Acrylic Coating at no cost, to re-treat any surface that is found to lose its non-slip effectiveness. This Gurantee shall be void if the SCOF of a treated surface falls below 0.6 because of the presence of a foreign substance. It does not cover compensation for injuries or losses due to slip/fall accidents or other direct, indirect or consequential damages resulting from the failue of any treated surface to retain a SCOF of 0.6,regardless of the legal theory asserted, including negligence and strict liability.

 

If any Trusty-Step Product is proved defective, the user?s exclusive remedy will be, at Trusty-Step International?s option, to replace the defective product or to refund the purchase price for the defective amount. Except for the replacement or refund remedies, Trusty-Step International is not liable for the direct damages or consequential damages, regardless of the legal theory asserted, including negligence and strict liability.
