Product Information
 Especially formulated for commercial and institutional kitchens and commercial food service areas. It is the perfect way to maintain a non-slip surface after it has been treated with No. 1001 Anti-Slip Floor and Bathtub Treatment. It is bio-degradable and can be used with hot or cold water. It can be used to clean all types of tile, concrete, vinyl, metal, stone and painted floors.

Slip/Falls are the number one accident problem in commercial kitchens according to the National Safety Council. They account for over 200 million dollars in Workman.s Compensation claims in the U.S. each year. Wet and greasy quarry tile floors are the major contributor to this problem.

Because quarry tile is so porous, it absorbs grease readily. No. 4002 emulsifies grease and lifts it out of the tile pores, thereby preventing the grease build-up that makes quarry tile floors so slippery. One gallon (3.79 liters), when diluted, will clean 8,000 . 10,000 sq. ft.

Application Instructions:

  1. Sweep floor clean of debris.
  2. Fill sprayer bottle with one gallon of TRUSTY-STEP DEEP CLEANER/DEGREASER and connect to foaming sprayer *
    Attach standard water hose to sprayer. Apply a light even layer of foam on all areas to be cleaned. Allow to remain on floor for five (5) minutes. (Set sprayer at 1:15 dilution ratio, 8 oz. (236.58 ml) per gallon (3.79 liters) of water).
  3. Scrub floor vigorously with deck brush making sure grout lines are thoroughly cleaned.
  4. Remove residue with squeegee.
  5. Dry floor with squeegee.

*  If foaming sprayer is not available, dilute 8 oz. (236.58 ml) of TRUSTY-STEP DEEP CLEANER/DEGREASER to one gallon (3.79 liters) of water in a bucket. Pour TRUSTY-STEP DEEP CLEANER/DEGREASER directly on floor from bucket and spread evenly with deck brush.

** If there are no floor drains, residue must be picked up with mop or wet vacuum.

Dilution ratios may be increased or decreased; 6 ounces (177.44 ml) per gallon (3.79 liters) (1:20) to 12 ounces (354.88 ml) per gallon (3.79 liters) (1:10), to meet specific soil conditions.

SHOCK TREATMENT CLEANING: TRUSTY-STEP DEEP CLEANER/DEGREASER may be used as a "Shock Treatment" on very heavily soiled floors. Mix one part TRUSTY-STEP DEEP CLEANER/DEGREASER to three (3) parts water.
