Product Information

Slips and falls on wet surfaces are a major problem for all types of commercial establishments as well as residences. Time tested No. 1001 Anti-Slip Floor and Bathtub Treatment helps solve those costly and dangerous problems. Unlike short-lived coatings, No. 1001 is an invisible chemical treatment which microscopically etches a tread into the surface. One treatment is guaranteed to make the surface slip-resistant for a minimum of 4 years, indoors or outdoors. No. 1001 has been used successfully by major restaurant & hotel chains, hospitals, office buildings, etc. for 22 years. One gallon covers 350-400 square feet. Application time is 30 minutes. The floor is ready to walk on immediately. No. 1001 can be used on tile, marble, granite, terrazzo and concrete.

No. 1001 may also be used on porcelain bathtubs. The treatment takes 5 minutes. Only 4 ounces of product is required per bathtub. When treating fiberglass bathtubs, No. 1222 Non-Slip Acrylic Coating should be used.

Painted and/or sealed concrete should be treated with No. 1222 Non-Slip Acrylic Coating.

For Use On:

Ceramic, porcelain & quarry tile, marble, granite, terrazzo, cement and bathtubs

Restaurants, hotels, supermarkets, hospitals, nursing homes, shopping centers, health clubs, etc.

Coverage:

350 - 400 square feet (32.55 - 37.2 square meters) per gallon (3.79 liters).

Application Instructions:

  1. Pour TRUSTY-STEP ANTI-SLIP FLOOR & BATHTUB TREATMENT on floor.
  2. Spread evenly with #9004 applicator.
  3. Keep evenly wet for approximately 30 minutes, adding additional Trusty-Step as needed.
  4. Rinse with water.
  5. Squeegee or mop dry.
The floor is now ready to walk on and will remain slip-resistant for a minimum of four years.

Four Year Guarantee:

Trusty-Step International Guarantees that No. 1001 TRUSTY-STEP ANTI-SLIP FLOOR & BATHTUB TREATMENT, when applied according to the instructions provided, will raise the static coefficient of friction on hard mineral surfaces (ceramic, quarry & porcelain tile, marble, granite, terrazzo and cement) to 0.6, the level recommended by the Americans with Diabilities Act.

Routine cleaning and maintenance to remove grease, oil or other substances is required. This Guarantee shall only provide for supplying enough No. 1001 TRUSTY-STEP ANTI-SLIP FLOOR & BATHTUB TREATMENT at no cost, to re-treat any surface that is found to lose its non-slip effectiveness. This Gurantee shall be void if the SCOF of a treated surface falls below 0.6 because of the presence of a foreign substance. It does not cover compensation for injuries or losses due to slip/fall accidents or other direct, indirect or consequential damages resulting from the failue of any treated surface to retain a SCOF of 0.6- TRUSTY-STEP INTERNATIONAL.
